Onwards with the excuses and the veil that they use
To strangle the women they still love to abuse
Benevolence the bars of their rusted cage
Make them join their cult and live by their image

A vision of life in black and white
Where grey is destroyed and nuances are strikes
For or against, choose and pledge allegiance
Deciding their future, not concerned with their grievance

Save her with one hand, crucify her with the other
Contemptuous pride, egotistical bystanders
Malovolent rage against the ones they claim to save
To hide their true intentions to wash them away

Out of fear that a mother, a daughter, a wife
Will delete their existence, take over their life
Instinct of survival, fight or flight response
Or stubborn ill-willed heinous ignorance?
